A Web site should be easy to navigate - similar to
the page you entered from -. People should be able to enter and leave your site at many
points, and shouldn't be forced to take a pre-determined path through information they
aren't interested in to get to the information they really want -.

that when they get to the information they want that they couldn't be guided from there.

always try to consider such rules that already exist (i.e. link colors, buttons, etc.).
Successful sites will create a sense of community.

Visitors have little patience for Web pages that take forever to load. Initial pages
should forgo too many fancy graphics in favor of faster download times. Once a viewer has
decided to stay, they may tolerate long download times to get specific content (i.e.
games, video or audio) but not always on the first visit.
A site must be fresh, and flexible.
To maintain viewer interest in the site you must continually update and freshen its'
content. Sites with frequent changes and updates have return visitors and refer your site
